Todarodes Squid has a mild, subtle sweet taste with a firm and meaty texture. The meat has an opaque white color. Channel Seafoods International offers frozen tubes and tentacles and tubes only squid in excellent condition. Our squid products are packed in blocks. The seasonality varies around May through November. It is wild caught, using the hand lines method. There are a variety of cooking methods for squid: baking, frying, grilling, or steaming.
Serving Suggestions:
Squid can be stuffed with chorizo sausages and feta cheese. It can also be used in calamari dishes.
Defrosting:
Defrost before cooking. To defrost product, keep in refrigerator overnight, or place under cold running water.
Safe Handling:
Keep product frozen until ready to use. Do not refreeze product.
