Crimson Snapper has a sweet and mild taste with a firm and flaky texture. It has a pinkish to white-ish color. Channel Seafoods International offers frozen, boneless and skin on fillets in excellent condition. Our snapper products are individually vacuumed packed (IVP) and are CO-treated. The seasonality varies around March through May and October through December. It is wild caught, using the hand lines method. There are a variety of cooking methods for snapper: baking, deep frying, grilling, roasting, or sautéing.
Crimson snapper can be served with lemons and a small salad or sautéed zucchini and bell peppers.
Defrost before cooking. To defrost product, keep in refrigerator overnight, or place under cold running water.
Keep product frozen until ready to use. Do not refreeze product.
