Sardines have a pronounced rich taste with a medium firm texture. It has a white to pink color. The seasonality varies around June through March. It is wild caught; using the net caught and purse seining methods. There are a variety of cooking methods for sardine: baking, broiling, frying, or grilling.
Sardine can be served with any kind of salad, crackers, pasta, and rice. It can also be served as a sandwich.
Defrost before cooking. To defrost product, keep in refrigerator overnight, or place under cold running water.
Keep product frozen until ready to use. Do not refreeze product.
