Yellowfin Flounder has a mild and sweet taste with a firm and delicate texture. It can be seen in a snow white, tan, or pinkish color. Channel Seafoods International offers frozen, skinless/boneless in excellent condition. Our flounder fillet products are individually quick frozen (IQF). The seasonality varies around May through January. It is wild caught, using the bottom otter trawling methods. There are a variety of cooking methods for flounder: baking, frying, steaming, or sautéing.
Serving Suggestions:
Flounder can be served with green beans, potatoes, and a tossed salad.
Defrosting:
Defrost before cooking. To defrost product, keep in refrigerator overnight, or place under cold running water.
Safe Handling:
Keep product frozen until ready to use. Do not refreeze product.
