Mike established Channel Seafoods International in the early 1980’s and has overseen its growth ever since. He is extremely excited about the direction of the company and of the seafood industry. He says that as a company we strive to provide a wide range of high-quality seafood products at competitive prices to our varied customers. The seafood industry, he believes, has made great strides in protecting the trust that has been handed to us to ensure the viability of our oceans and its resources for generations to come.
Peter Aronstam brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, banking and international trade to Channel Seafoods International. He joined our team four years ago and has been instrumental in guiding a highly successful planned growth for Channel Seafoods.
Senior Account Representative
Bob Levine began his career in the Seafood business back in the mid 1980’s importing fresh fish and seafood from Central & South America. He has been working for Channel Seafoods International since 2009 handling key accounts and working to help the company to develop new products.
National Account Manager
Ebby attended St. John’s University N.Y. studying accounting and business management. After a successful career in the Real Estate industry in California, he joined Channel Seafoods in 2016 to assist in the development of national accounts.
International Account Manager
Ken Eden is from Northern California and has been in Florida for many years. He has also lived in Guatemala and has strong ties with Latin America. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business. Ken oversees export sales here at Channel Seafoods International.
Donald Modenbach Jr.
Don began his career in the seafood industry in 1978 as a commercial fisherman. He spent many years in Alaska (Kodiak Island and Dutch Harbor) working in the ground fish industry there. His industry experience includes management positions in production, operations, transportation/logistics, purchasing & sales. Don joined the staff at Channel in 2013 as a sales representative.
Mark Sussman has been in the seafood business for 10 years, selling frozen and fresh seafood nationally. Born and raised in Queens, NY, then spent many years in the Boston area where he gained his seafood expertise. He now works in the sales force for Channel Seafoods International since 2014.
National Account Manager
Ivan Drljevic has been in the seafood industry and gained experience for 25+ years. He’s committed to providing the best seafood from Asia and South America at the most competitive price possible and to help develop seafood buying programs.
Inventory and Customer Service Specialist
Alice Orozco is born and raised from Miami, FL. She is vastly experienced in inventory management, purchasing, importing, and a logistics specialist and can adapt to any given role given. She currently has 17 years of experience within the seafood industry and currently provides administrative support to the Channel Seafood team.
Barbara was born and raised in New York until her relocation to Florida in 1988. She has been involved in the import/export industry for 15+ years in a variety of industries. Barbara brings years of accounting experience to the Channel Seafood team where she now performs as the company Bookkeeper as of March 2018.
Growing up in South Florida, Jay shares the love and respect for the ocean and life style of the beach. He has been in the seafood industry for twenty years, developing programs for national and regional distributors. Jay also developed contract business through his relationships with national restaurant chain accounts, working closely with chefs and their seafood product needs. Jay has owned and operated a restaurant management group, where the foundation of customer service is paramount for sustaining any successful business.
Director of Quality Assurance
Animal Production Engineer from Venezuela with 6 years of shrimp quality, production and export logistic. Albert has more than 10 years of experience in seafood as a Quality Assurance Manager developing SQF systems, including related regulations and HACCP plans. He is eager to take Channel Seafoods Int ti the highest level in order to provide our customers with the safest, best and premium quality foods.
